The road project was started on 20-4-2015, and has been completed by 20-5-2015 within one month. the scope of work is including 20cm of laterite base, 15cm of stone base, 5cm of wearing course, 7.3km of carriage way.

The project was commissioned by His Excellency, Chief Godswill obot akpabio executive governor of akwa ibom stat on 26-5-2015 witnessed by Governor-elect Gabriel Udom Emmanuel.
